To implement the spirit of 19th National Congress of the Chinese Communist Party and the Central City Work Conference, engineering structure monitoring needs to play a fundamental role in boosting smart cities. It also aims to carry out the development ideas of innovation, coordination, green, openness and sharing, advance the construction of urban engineering and the green development of cities, and integrate big data, artificial intelligence and other new technologies with smart cities. According to the requirements of the working group of Standardization Administration of the People's Republic of China, an engineering structure monitoring standardization work group of SAC/TC426/SC1 was established to serve the Intelligent Residence Community. The group takes charge of the formulation, revision and application of national standards for the national standard system of engineering structure monitoring, the construction and evaluation of engineering structure monitoring system.

In this meeting, we have invited  leaders from National Standardization Management Committee and Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, high-level leaders, technical experts and scholars from engineering monitoring and testing organizations and scientific research institutions nationwide. It is expected that our distinguished guests can exchange views on the development opportunities of engineering structure monitoring and create more technical ideas in this field to connect the whole industry chain from the engineering monitoring and testing, the manufacturing of testing facilities, to the selling and application of these facilities at home and abroad. Besides, it is hoped that this conference can provide a new platform for online and offline communication among industries, universities and research institutions through the internet, better serving the quality monitoring and testing of the engineering industry and advancing its progress.
