Prof. Jiansheng Fan

Jiansheng Fan, Professor of School of Civil Engineering, Tsinghua University, is Director of Research Institute of Structural Engineering, a Council Member of China Civil Engineering Society, and Executive Director of the Bridge and Structural Engineering Branch. He also serves as Deputy Secretary-General of the Expert Committee of China Steel Structure Association, Vice Chairman of the combined structure branch, and Executive Director of the Building Structure Branch of the Architectural Society of China and the Bridge and Structural Engineering Branch of China Highway Society. Besides, Professor Fan is Member of the Structural Engineering Committee of the Chinese Society of Mechanics, the Structural Special Committee of China Nuclear Industry Survey and Design Association and the Electric Power Civil Engineering Committee of the Chinese Society for Electrical Engineering.
Professor Fan conducts research on steel-concrete composite structures, bridge engineering, structural detection assessment, and structure of new materials. He has won many honorary awards including the second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award (publicized, 2020), the first prize of the 2019 Scientific Exploration and National Science and Technology Progress Award, the first prize of the National Technological Invention Award (2012), National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars (2017) and Outstanding Youth Fund of the National Foundation of China (2012). Besides, he was selected as Ten Thousand Talents Program Leading Talents in Technological Innovation (2016), Distinguished Professor of the Yangtze River Scholars of the Ministry of Education (2015), Young and Middle-aged Science and Technology Innovation Leader of the Ministry of Science and Technology (2015), and New Century Outstanding Talents of the Ministry of Education (2008).
Meanwhile, Professor Fan presided over a project of “Research and Demonstration Application of High-Performance Composite Structure System” of National Key R&D Program of China (2017), and a key project of “Research on New Material High Durability Concrete Structure” of the National Foundation of China (2019). Moreover, he has accomplished many scientific research projects in architecture, bridge, tunnel and protective engineering: Tianjin Tower, Canton East Tower, Yinchuan Greenland Center, Tianjin New Finance Hotel, National Stadium, New Museum of Science and Technology of China, Wuhan Center, Headquarter of China Resources Tower, Beijing Daxing International Airport, Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport, Wuchang Railway Station, more than 10 overpasses and bridges, Dongtinghu Bridge, Jiangxinzhou Yangtze River Bridge in Nanjing, Maputo Bridge (in Mozambique), Jiaozhou Bay Bridge, Taohuayu Yellow River Bridge (in Zhengzhou), Chongqing yongchuan Yangtze River Bridge, Waihuan Jiangjing Yangtze River Bridge, Honghe Bridge, Xiamen Horticultural Expo Garden, Shenzhen-Zhongshan Sea Crossing Project Immersed Tube Tunnel, etc.
樊健生,清华大学土木工程系教授、结构工程研究所所长。中国土木工程学会理事、桥梁及结构工程分会常务理事,中国钢结构协会专家委员会副秘书长及组合结构分会副理事长,中国建筑学会建筑结构分会常务理事、中国公路学会桥梁和结构工程分会常务理事,为中国力学学会结构工程专业委员会、中国核工业勘察设计协会结构专委会、中国电机工程学会电力土建专业委员会委员。
主要研究钢-混凝土组合结构、桥梁工程、结构检测评估、新材料结构。获得获得国家科技进步奖二等奖(2020年,已公示,第1)、2019年科学探索、国家科技进步奖一等奖(创新团队,2018,第3)、国家技术发明奖一等奖(2012,第2)、国家杰出青年科学基金(2017)、万人计划科技创新领军人才(2016)、教育部长江学者特聘教授(2015)、科技部中青年科技创新领军人才(2015)、国家基金委优秀青年基金(2012)、教育部新世纪优秀人才(2008)等多个荣誉奖项。
同时为国家重点研发计划“高性能组合结构体系研究与示范应用”项目负责人(2017)、国家基金委重大项目“新材料高耐久混凝土结构研究”课题负责人(2019)。完成建筑、桥梁、隧道、防护工程等领域多项工程科研项目:天津津塔、广州东塔、银川绿地中心、天津新金融酒店、国家体育场、国家科技馆新馆、武汉中心、华润总部大厦、首都新机场、厦门机场、武昌火车站、十余项立交及跨线桥梁、岳阳洞庭湖大桥、南京长江五桥、莫桑比克马普托港大桥、青岛海湾大桥、郑州桃花峪黄河大桥、重庆永川长江大桥、观音岩长江大桥、红河特大桥、厦门园博园桥、深圳-中山跨海工程沉管隧道等。
