Prof. Qingshan Yang

Qingshan Yang is the Distinguished Professor of Yangtze River Scholars, Doctoral Supervisor, and Dean of School of Civil Engineering, Chongqing University. Prof. Yang has long been engaged in teaching, scientific research and engineering practice in wind engineering, structural engineering and earthquake engineering. Yang received his bachelor’s degree, master’s degree and doctor’s degree from Harbin University of Technology in 1989, 1992 and 1995, respectively, and carried out joint research with Hong Kong Polytechnic University, University of Nevada and University of Notre Dame in 1998, 2001 and 2014 as a research assistant, visiting scholar and senior visiting scholar, respectively. He successively chaired several Key Programs and Major Programs of National Natural Science Foundation of China, the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, General Programs of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Joint Funding of Japan-China Research Cooperation, Key Projects of International Cooperation NSFC, “Wind-resistance Base of Wind-sensitive Infrastructure” and “High-performance Wind Energy System and Effective Operation.” He has completed over 40 wind tunnel testing projects of important stadiums, airports and high-rise buildings, membrane structure engineering design and health monitoring projects of Potala Palace. Yang also presided over the Standard for Wind Loads on Roof Structures, published three monographs as the first author, and released more than 300 papers (including over 200 SCI/EI papers). And he also won many awards, including the Second Prize of National Science and Technology Progress (2018, 1997), the Second Prize of Science and Technology Progress of the Tibet Autonomous Region (2017), the 10th Guanghua Engineering Science and Technology Award (2014), the Second Prize of Science and Technology Progress of Ministry of Education (2013), the Second Prize of Science and Technology Progress of Colleges and Universities (2007), the Sun Membrane Structure Excellent Youth Prize (2005), Tien-yow Jeme Civil Engineering Prize (2001), Outstanding Youth in Education Award (2000), the Second Prize of National Science and Technology Progress (1997) and the First Prize of Science and Technology Progress of MOHURD (1996). In addition, he organized successively the International Advanced School on Wing Engineering (2015, 2016, 2017), the 14th International Symposium on Structural Engineering (2016) and co-chaired the 15th International Conference on Wind Engineering (ICWE15), which was held in China for the first time, of the International Society of Wind Engineering (2019).
杨庆山,长江学者”特聘教授,博士生导师,重庆大学土木工程学院院长。长期从事风工程、结构工程和地震工程领域的教学、科研和工程实践。分别于1989年、1992年和1995年获得哈尔滨工业大学学士、硕士和博士学位,于1998年、2001年和2014年以研究助理、访问学者和高级访问学者身份分别与香港理工大学、美国内华达大学和美国圣母大学开展联合研究。先后主持多项国家自然科学基金重点项目、国家自然科学基金重大研究计划重点项目、国家自然科学杰出青年基金、国家自然科学面上项目、中日联合资助国际合作项目、国家自然科学基金国际合作重点项目,“风敏感基础设施抗风减灾基地”和“高性能风电设施及其高效运营国际合作基地”项目。主持完成了40余项重要体育场馆、机场、高层建筑等的风洞试验和膜结构工程设计及布达拉宫等古建的健康监测项目。主持制定屋盖结构风荷载规范一部,以第一作者出版专著3部,发表论文300余篇(其中SCI/EI 200余篇)。荣获国家科技进步二等奖(2018,1997)、西藏自治区科技进步二等奖(2017)、第十届光华工程科技奖青年奖(2014)、教育部科技进步二等奖(2013)、高等学校科技进步二等奖(2007)、太阳膜结构优秀青年奖(2005)、詹天佑科技奖(2001)、教育部青年教师奖(2000)、国家科技进步二等奖(1997)和建设部科技进步一等奖(1996)。先后组织了国际高级风工程学校(2015、2016、2017);第十四届结构工程国际研讨会(2016);共同主持首次在中国召开的国际风工程学会的主体官方学术大会第十五届国际风工程会议(2019)。
